Vanessa Sax
President, Asset Management and Leasing
A leasing and asset management executive who brings over 20 years of experience in office, retail, life science and mixed-use deals valued over $2 billion. She excels at analyzing market trends and building strong relationships within the brokerage community in order to deliver the highest and best tenancy and cash flow for any project. Vanessa has negotiated and secured deals with multiple Triple A credit national tenants throughout the course of her career, including: Wells Fargo, Starbucks, Chipotle, Walgreens, Bank of America, SoulCycle, Smoothie King, Pret A Manager, Tatte and Verizon. She has also worked on projects with institutional and university clients including: Brown University, Yale University and University of Notre Dame creating complex strategies for how to create an ecosystem that supports both university R&D happening and symbiotic commercial tenancy.

A development executive who brings over a decade of experience in real estate planning, design, and development, across multiple asset classes. He has successfully raised / deployed over $200 million in public and private capital, led award-winning community initiatives, and advised institutional partners on strategy and development. With a multi-disciplinary background spanning economic development, business strategy, and large-scale mixed-use real estate, J.J. plays a key leadership role in advancing value-add projects and public-private partnerships.
Michelle Maldonado

An investment-focused real estate professional with over a decade of experience structuring, financing and executing complex transactions across commercial, mixed-use, multifamily and life science assets. She has led and supported more than $5 billion in completed debt and equity transactions across acquisitions, development, leasing and dispositions. Michelle’s experience spans the full transaction life cycle, with particular expertise in special situations, complex capital structures and institutional and mission-driven development partnerships. She is trusted to navigate layered capital stacks, public-private frameworks and long-term ownership structures while maintaining disciplined execution from diligence through closing and compliance.
